Mod's n' Rotters

This novel is set in London, England at the beginning of the ?swinging sixties. It was the height of the ?Mod? explosion which revolved around the amphetamine driven clubs of Soho where 48 hour non-stop entertainment was the ?norm?. Two privately educated ?City Slickers? with promising careers supplement their hedonistic live-style with shady drug dealing and prostitution. Occult inspired Brovard is obsessed with control and exactitude whilst Knight plays his trusted lieutenant. Both follow the controversial philosophy of Nietzsche and will use any means to obtain their selfish goals; from subtle subterfuge to brutal murder. Although a fictional story, this book gives an authentic account of the ?Mod? scene on how it actually was in London in 1963-4; the movement, the clothes, the scooters, the clubs and the mind-set.
