Stu is leading a group of young students on a walk in the Maine woods when one of the kids begins speaking in tongues – the tongue of Stu's former kung fu master Rocco, to be precise. And with this supernatural summons begins Stu's quest to find Rocco after years of separation. A smashed windshield whose cracks form a road map and a spontaneous acupressure treatment provided by an oak tree are among the long series of cosmic clues and coincidences that lead Stu and his girlfriend Faith on a twisted path through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. With cryptic encounters, intense memories and powerful mystical experiences flooding his reality, Stu's search for Rocco becomes a road trip into the mind. But can Stu hold his relationship, not to mention his sanity, intact as a mysterious gravity pulls him further into the wilderness? And what does Rocco have waiting for him at the end of the road?
