Before the killer virus struck, I was known as James S. Fitzgerald, Petty Officer First Class, United States Coast Guard. When I came down with the virus, I knew my time was short. One night I went to bed for what I thought was the last time. Instead of dying, I woke up to find myself alone. Life wasn't as simple as some would believe. In Book #1, "After The Last Virus," I tell about fighting to survive, and my cross country trip in search of a new home, and a sustainable life.
