Princess Penelope, uniquely expresses her creativity in both writing and artwork, combining her poetry and oil paintings into funny, colorful children's books. This is based on a true story. She was inspired by her 3-year old grandson Peanut, who was more interested in the vendor who was selling candy apples than in the Christmas Parade. When she told him this story, he thought it was quite funny, and so she wrote the rhyme, and then spent 2 years giggling and illustrating the funny tale. She is writing and illustrating other children's books, one which Peanut, now 5-years old, has already memorized. The Princess lives in a secret castle in a faraway land, dreaming up new children's fairytales, with her magic pen and paints.
