A poor and motherless Brazilian girl. A ticket to the United States, where her rich father now wants to provide for her education. But then, an unexplainable fake passport, and a terrifying grave in a cemetery near San Mateo. This is the beginning of the adventures of a twenty-first century Cinderella, who thinks she is going to “discover America” and finds out dark secrets of an entire family.
