Three simple letters that form a very simple word that has come to define the world in which we live. We strive to get ahead in our careers. We seek to get cracking to get a move on and hurry to our destinations. Sometimes, we struggle just to get through the day. Our lives are dominated by acts of getting.
Perhaps the time has come to get real and step outside of our constant desire to get more worldly stuff of no lasting significance and learn to seek after the things of eternal value.
This book will seek to reverse our ways of thinking that have been twisted and redefined as a result of living in our getting world. Only when we abandon our all-too-human desire to acquire and discover ways to obey the Lord through giving to Him can we truly experience all the blessings God has to offer.
