Countdown to Midnight

Jeff Mitchell and Lillian Reins are in love. But they both know that their relationship will not work, so they mutually agree to terminate it. On the same night that they agree to end their relationship, Lillian is brutally murdered. Jeff becomes the prime suspect, is apprehended, charged and convicted of the crime. Sent to Death Row for a crime he did not commit, Jeff spends years awaiting his execution. That execution is set for midnight.
