The Heaven's Eye

On a world residing almost a dozen light-years away there lives a young novice monk named Julian who has been sent on a pilgrimage to the desert. Under the reddish-orange light of the second sun Julian unearths an artifact that looks similar to a sacred relic described within the pages of the Holy Scriptures. Unexpectedly Julian feels a surge of energy course through his entire body. He looks down on the artifact and wonders if the relic in his hands is the same legendary idol of legend. Suddenly Julian witnesses a bright blue flash of light before he becomes completely surrounded by a sea of countless stars. The Heaven’s Eye is a story which tells of two accounts of human interaction with a wondrous alien artifact. The first account is of an ordinary middle-aged American salesman whose life is changed by an extraterrestrial abduction. The second account is of a young novice monk living on an alien world hundreds of years in the future. Both men endure spectacular events that threaten not only to change their lives, but alter the destiny of the entire human race.
