The Station

Though set 9,000 years before the events of the Among the Dead series, The Station provides a conceptual bridge between Volume 1 and Volume 2. Proto-historian Tammuz is sent on a deadly mission to Antarctica to recover an ancient relic that could save humanity from the shackles of the alien race that has enslaved it. Getting away with the artifact will prove to be even more dangerous, with consequences that range far beyond Tammuz's life and times.
