A Girl Called Freak

“A Girl Called Freak” is a story of first love, friendship, and bullying. We join the main character the day before her junior year of high school. After years of being pushed around and insulted by Becky- her former best friend- she’s hoping a makeover will help her find a place with the popular crowd. Instead she finds Todd, a transfer student with a dashing smile and intolerance for bullies. Through the support of Todd and, her current besty, Adah, she gains the confidence she once missed and sees that a bully is not someone to cower from but someone to stand up to. With many twists and turns, laughs and tears, she learns the value of true friendship and forgiveness
