China's Active Defense Strategy and its Regional Impact

This hearing will examine whether the Chinese military is implementing a strategy to hinder or delay the deployment of U.S. forces in the Western Pacific; how Beijing might integrate the use of its military forces across all domains of war to fulfills such a strategy; what non-traditional means China could use to support this strategy; and the implications of such a strategy for the United States and its regional allies.
