Vampires In Paradise: A Tale of Love, Blood & Addiction

October, 2000 - A new millennium finds Aaron Michaels six months into his sobriety after a lifetime of heroin addiction. Now, he's just taking things one day at a time. He wakes to the thump of the morning paper against his door, and discovers more than he ever bargained for when he steps outside in the damp, predawn San Diego morning to retrieve it; where he witnesses the vampire Lydia feeding her own special addiction, feeding on her night's prey. Lydia see's him - too late - and Aaron escapes to the safety of his home, just before the sun begins to peek over the eastern horizon. Aaron, and a slowly growing band of believers of his fantastic tale, search by day for the vampires in their lair. But by night, it's run/hide, chased by the vampires, intent on catching and killing these new, inexperienced vampire hunters, who never stop believing that what they have seen is true, and never stop questioning their own sanity for believing it.
