The Metaphysics of the School

The title of the Book sufficiently explains its aim and purport. It does not pretend to be a new, or original philosophy. Of these we have (if I mistake not) quite enough already. It professes simply to give in English, to the best of the author's ability, the fundamental Philosophy of the School, which will be found to differ little, if at all, from that of Aristotle, -- a philosophy which goes by the name of the Peripatetic.
