Pulsed Avionics Systems: Introduction into Radar, DME, and Transponder Systems

This book covers those avionic systems that use pulsed and reflected radio signals. This includes Weather Radar, Air Traffic Control Radar, Distance Measuring Equipment, Radio Altimeter Systems and systems that use the information such as the TCAS, GPWS, ADS-S and Mode S systems. This book is written to provide students a copy of the PowerPoint slides for the Pima Community College Pulsed Avionics Systems summer course. This book will be converted to a traditional textbook later next year when the NCATT add on rating is finalized.
