Liffey Rivers: The Alaskan Sun

Irish dancer Liffey Rivers has just turned 14. Her harrowing experiences in South Africa are finally over after an enterprising nun manages to sneak Aunt Jean and herself  back to the U.S. disguised as  pilgrims en route to Lourdes, France. Some months later, she takes a much needed idyllic, once-in-a-lifetime Alaskan cruise with her family and best friend from Ireland, Sinead McGowan. The trip's itinerary includes, in addition to exciting ship to shore excursions, her first boyfriend and an Irish dance competition in Anchorage, Alaska. Liffey Rivers sets sail straight into the arms of contentment-and ultimately her worst enemy in a confrontation on the desolate shore of the Arctic Ocean.
