The Kingdom of the Seven Shields: Isle of the Four Kingdoms

Seventeen-year-old Toosweet Filly, 'Tooter' to her family and friends, is the third daughter of the King and Queen of The Kingdom of the Seven Shields, yet, she is anything but a pampered "Princess". She had been born with the mark of the 'gift'--a small, heart-shaped birthmark on her neck. In the Medieval times in which she lives, this mark sets her apart as 'gifted' and predetermines her destiny. To fully develop her 'gift' required that she, at the age of seven, enter an academy that would train her to utilize her skills and talents, the Sorcery Academy. Now, ten years later, Tooter is to leave her circle of friends and the protection of the academy, and start her life's work as a sorceress and apprentice to the most secretive of grandmasters, the guardian of the Blue Dragons. Before she starts this apprenticeship, she is to spend a time of rest and sweet reunion with her royal family. But, that is not to be as a family crisis and the betrayal of a dear friend set her and her trusted companions on whirlwind adventures, which call upon her skills as a sorceress and the spirited, determined, compassionate, yet playful young woman she has become.
