In this Short Guide we will be considering the forecasting techniques of Secondary Progressions and Solar and Lunar Returns, before combining them with Transits to provide a forecast for a year. The aim is to provide a method which you can then employ for yourself in your own astrological forecasting. To get the most from this book you will need an understanding of the symbolism of astrology, and of Transits (the subject of Volume 3 in this series). Forecasting is one of the most exciting areas of astrology, and living in harmony with the planetary energies as they unfold brings a magic to life that is hard to replicate with other divinatory techniques. The insight and guidance that astrology provides is unparallelled by other methods of prognostication. Within this however, we still have free-will, to negotiate our future as we see fit.
