Subtitle: Poems The poems express illuminating thoughts of the Author on the topics of love, anguish, vulnerability and deprivations of life, peace, inter-religious harmony, contentment and values of life. A work covering a period of more than a decade of his writing life is a show window and landscape of a variety of experiences and feelings generated as a result of trials and turbulences of the time. The Author expresses his philosophic thoughts and shares his poetic vision with utmost clarity in a language free from ambiguities in a variety of genres like Rhyming Verses, Free Verses, Ghazals, Quatrains and Haiku. Some translations of classical Urdu Poetry of Masters have also been included. Mohammad Yamin Iraqi who lives in Portugal is known for his philosophic thoughts about life. His extensive travels in Western, Eastern, Middle Eastern, Far Eastern and African Countries provided him opportunity of exposure to various languages, ethnic cultures, sensitivities, essence and spirit broadening the horizon of his mind. His poems have won various Awards in USA and Pakistan. His book Rubai’yat of Josh Malihabadi – A Drop and the Ocean won Tauqeer-e-Ahle Qalam Trophy from the Pakistan Academy of Letters and Khana-e-Farhang Iran. He was formerly the Managing Director and CEO of Commercial Trust Bank.
