Being a Crime Boss Isn't Easy. Just Ask Tom Hill. Having survived a prison stretch and a bloody mob war, Hill controls Randall, Texas - a run-down suburb of Dallas. Along with his crew - they run the town's illegal rackets. Throw in his bitter ex-wife Charlotte and teenage son Eric, who Hill desperately wants to steer away from following his path into crime, and you have a dark, yet sometimes humorous novel with a touch of political incorrectness about a man caught up in a world where one misstep can lead to fatal consequences.
