Love and Truth: From Here to Eternity

Whatever one pictures love to be, one thing is certain: Love is important to us. But love without truth is a falsehood to the foundation of the United States of America-a foundation built upon God. As Christians, it's time to reacquaint ourselves with our historic and present-day role models, with the richness of love between one man and one woman within marriage, and with the love for our country. There are good reasons for this love. Jesus is Lord in the U.S. Constitution, and God has a history of richly blessing the USA, when "We the People" acknowledged Him as Lord. (Psalms 33:12) In Love and Truth, the author also grapples with present-day attempts to erect walls between love and truth. In the United States, there are those who Christ offends, and they erect a wall called "the separation of church and state." The author, however, calls this falsehood "the separation of Christianity and state." This falsehood becomes clearer when U.S. tax dollars are utilized for Islamic religious practices for Muslim students within U.S. public schools. Love and Truth is a timely and relevant book that eloquently examines the role of love/truth in our relationships with each other, with God, and with our country.
