As a 3-time traditional surrogate mother genetically related to each surrobaby she carried, Dawn give's a unique perspective and provides an insider's view of traditional surrogacy (TS) based upon her three successful surrogacy journeys. She writes about what TS entails, beginning with the search for her ideal recipients, and resulting in three babies who were destined for three families. Why did I write this book? I wanted to tell a story that wasn’t already out there. A story no Gestational Surrogate mother could tell. I was surprised that this story had not been told yet, after I started writing the book and thinking about what I was going to do with it. I didn’t want to tell a story 25 other surrogate mothers had already told. I also thought it would be a wonderful thing for the children who were born with my help to hear the story about how they came on to this earth. When they are older, their parents will have the option of sharing their story with them from my prospective.
