Written in the urban genre, inspired by true-life events, to date. Squeeze Play is the most controversial of all the Beat Down novels. In this sexually charged drama, a duet of unrelated tragedies come together to place the lives of two families onto a collision course that may have deadly consequences. In an isolated incident, a seasoned prison guard is stabbed to death. A state of emergency is called, and in a brutal spree of retaliation, three inmates are killed by the same out of control officer. Elsewhere, though she loves him, tired of her charismatic and charming boyfriend's infidelity, a single mother stumbles into a new relationship with an abusive man, and in a savage fit of rage, he kills her. Devastated by the lost of his children's mother whom he has never stopped loving, Shamar now has custody of his three children. Marisa, torn apart by the death of her only child, funnels all her energy into helping Shamar to raise her three grandchildren. A mature and gorgeous woman, Marisa has remained celibate until she can find a man whom she trusts to be honest and faithful only to her. In front of her eyes, as Shamar transforms from being a playboy, and turns into a doting and protective father, Marisa believes that he is becoming everything that she has ever wanted in a man and more. The admiration is mutual, the sexual chemistry between them becomes so combustible that it threatens to blow the entire house apart. For the sake of the children, they must deny the boiling and lustful feelings that they have for each other. Out of growing frustration, Shamar succumbs to temptation and has an affair with a married woman, and the woman's husband immediately discovers that his wife has cheated on him. As Marisa and Shamar began to make tentative overtures to each other, the angry man is plotting his revenge, and is devising a scheme to get Shamar into a position where he can kill him. This isn't an idle fantasy on the man's part, he has killed three inmates before, and he knows that he is capable of killing again. Like tantric sex 'Squeeze Play' is erotic, it slowly builds and prolongs the pleasure until it is nearly intolerable, but the moment of release is so unbelievably fantastic.
