The Magical Truths of Phoenix Rising

In "The Magical Truths of Phoenix Rising," 16-year-old Caroline Casey enters into the mystical world of elves, gnomes, fairies, and other magical creatures. Although Caroline would prefer to enjoy an ordinary summer vacation like an ordinary teenager, she chooses to use her special gifts to help the elves, who are in a war against evil shapeshifters. The elves need to win the shapeshifter war in order to prevent the world from descending into chaos and darkness. After Caroline travels through a mystical gateway to Ireland, she meets a young man whom she finds both annoying and intriguing. There is a surprise twist late in the story when Caroline and her friends gain help from an unexpected ally.
