“Princesses and Butterflies” is a fairy tale with special meaning for children who have lost a friend or family member. It reveals that death is not the end, but the beginning of a new adventure! Sadly I lost my youngest child, Jori, to the rare neurological disorder known as Polymicrogyria – or PMG. Afterward I struggled to help my older daughters understand why their baby sister was gone. How could I explain the inexplicable? Through the heartache and tears arrived the words of this story, which became my little labor of love. The result is a tale set “in a castle by the sea,” written for my daughters – and for children everywhere.
