Flirting with Rome

Contemporary Women's Literature with a twist of Romance. When Elison Thomas, an academic advisor from a small Mid-western university, has the opportunity to follow her best friend to Rome, Italy, she jumps at it. Elie has recently broken off a long and dysfunctional relationship with "Butthead" and welcomes the distraction for the summer. She and her BFF Melanie explore Rome, on a study abroad with a group of gangly undergrads. While there, fate seems to be working in Elie's favor, because she meets Chris Benson. Between chasing down crazy students and drinking excessive amounts of wine, can she shake her bad karma and actually have a chance at happiness?
