Description

This book presents Volumes 1-4 of the What Would a GM Do series. The intention of this series is to present what is similar to one coaching session with a Grandmaster.

Each of the four lessons in this book discusses one particular theme:

  • How to attack
  • How to defend against attacks and positional pressure
  • How to handle dynamic positions
  • How to use common sense and logical thinking to support the decision making process in chess

Lars Bo Hansen is a well-known Danish Grandmaster, author, and chess coach, currently residing in Orlando, Florida. During his chess career GM Hansen has competed successfully against many world class players, playing in his trademark solid positional style. He is an Olympic Bronze Medalist, won the Danish Championship on five occasions, and represented Denmark in six Olympiads. GM Hansen is Florida State Champion 2012.

Away from the board, Lars Bo Hansen holds an MBA and has been lecturing on Business Strategy and Marketing Management at universities in Denmark, USA and Germany.
