Escape to Bastian (The Adventures of Calvin Townsend) (Volume 1)

Calvin is a medieval weapons maker. He fled his own country to evade trouble at home. But when he goes to work in a neighboring country, he soon finds an even greater danger looming there. To avert disaster, Calvin must now return to his home country where his old enemies are waiting for him while some new enemies are chasing from behind. He must deal with these threats as he attempts the journey home, but he will not be alone. His sister Jennica and his co-worker Garrett go with him. Along with other friends, both old and new, they will certainly help and occasionally hinder his progress. The travels, surprises, sword fights, rescues and the battle that ensue become an adventure for Calvin as he attempts to escape to Bastian.
