Kentucky Tapestry

Teresa “Terri” Gothard Robinson’s books are embedded in her own roots, which run deep in Kentucky soil. Her mother’s lineage dates back to the early 1850’s in the Floyd County mountain holler called Big Branch. Robinson’s childhood experiences on the home-place of her mother’s birth gave her an insight and love of the Appalachian culture, which is revealed in her writing. She has for some time been immersed in tracing her genealogy. What emerged became so compelling that the first edition of Kentucky Tapestry, her first book, was the result. Over the years, more information and history unfolded, resulting in this third edition of Kentucky Tapestry.
