Clash of Civilizations in Traditional Islamic Discourse

The subject of clash of civilizations is known to Muslim thinkers since many centuries; Let it be Imam Ghazali r.a., Akbar Ala Abadi, Allama Iqbal r.a. etc, all of them have extensively discussed about the subject in their literature. This book introduces the subject from the perspective of the respective thinkers, and argues that despite the irrelevance it may have for the west, the subject would remain significant for the survival of the Muslims. This book proves that there is indeed a clash, specifically of ideas, values & virtues, held sacred by the Muslim world and the west respectively. This clash has a history of almost a thousand years. However understanding the importance of this ideological conflict has never been so crucial for Muslims as it is today.
