Whispers of The Greybull It is 1937 and Cole Morgan has lost everything—his family, his dream as a professional football player, and the solace of a home he has known for over twenty-one years. At his parents’ funeral in Montana, he is approached by Allen Skimming, an old rodeo friend of his father. Allen offers Cole a job on The Greybull, a massive ranch located near the small town of Meeteetse, Wyoming. Cole plans to lose himself in the ranch’s vastness and the intensity of ranch life, but when he arrives, he finds The Greybull is not as he imagined. Almost immediately he begins trying to solve a seventy year mystery that has plagued the ranch since the death of its founder. Not only is the ranch dealing with the drought, wolves and a rogue grizzly bear; but far more sinister forces seem to be in play. When his best friend is savagely killed, Cole stumbles upon a clue that could locate a lost gold mine that had only been rumored to exist. Stories are whispered about a dark presence that makes even the toughest ranch hands uneasy and the harder he digs, the more entangled Cole becomes in a world full of secrecy, deceit, and murder.
