Hidden Demons (World of Chaos: Corruption) (Volume 1)

Underneath and inside of what most take for granted, something truly terrible has been brewing. A dark "corruption" begins spilling into the world, consuming and destroying all life in its path. Coming from two diametrically different homes, childhood friends Lily and Deborah live reasonably safe lives in a small, primitive mining town called Workulm. Deborah's home life is filled with warmth, love and lots of pie-making. Lily, however, comes from a highly religious family, where her Father is a cold and pious man who leads the church in town. Our third player in this drama is Rachice, an Elven Ranger who accidentally reveals himself to the two girls while hunting a wild cat. Not sure what to do about it, as he's not allowed to interact with these "primitive" humans, he decides to bring them along on his current mission, to investigate the "corruption"
