Daisy Miller: A Study: In Two Parts

Daisy Miller, a young woman from Schenectady arrives in Switzerland to visit her aunt. Daisy's mother wants her daughter to experience the local social regime on the trip, where judgment is made on a complex set rules for conduct. High spirited and unable to slow her enthusiasm Daisy meets Frederick Winterbourne an American that grew up in Geneva. Drawn into Daisy, Winterbourne tries to figure out what she wants. Unwilling to follow the rules of conduct for her age and rank, she is criticized for her behavior as Winterbourne stops his chase after her.
