Faster Than Light

In 1994 Miguel Alcubierre proposed a mathematical model, now referred to as the Alcubierre Manifold, how local space-time could be reshaped to produce a propulsion system. This propulsion system would have no upper limit on velocity. Mathematical models later suggested that the energy requirements to ‘paint’ this manifold exceeded the available energy in the universe. Regardless of the energy requirements, to date, no one has produced any theory or hypothesis regarding how space-time could be artificially altered. In 1997 researchers at the University of Texas discovered the ‘Quantum Zeno Effect,’ the suspension of unitary time by conscious observation. At the turn of the last century Einstein predicted, correctly, that as time slowed (time dilation) space curved. This text describes the first theoretical model regarding how space-time can be altered, and with an energy requirement in the kilowatt range. The text details a novel hypothesis describing time as an ordered system, Quantum Temporal Dynamics (not related to any other material using that term) which successfully describes every particle, process, and force in nature without gaps or paradoxes; and most importantly, uses math that does not exceed intermediate algebra, putting it in reach of the layman. This in turn requires re-examination of the original data, and rethinking the Standard Model from scratch, as no one has produced a non-speculative model of quantum behavior or physical cosmology that is agreed upon. Quantum Physics has in fact, remained in a state of limbo for nearly half a century now. A thorough qualitative look at each discovered phenomenon reveals a much simpler model than expected, one that leaves no particle, process, or force unaccounted for and leaves no mysteries or paradoxes. The model is of course hypothetical.
