The book begins with a comparison of the three organizational paradigms: rational, natural, and open systems. Following discussions analyze the key elements of the organizational structure and design in the organizations of the airline and automobile industries and present changes created upon an organizational needs and dilemmas. The discussions include solutions how to improve the situation in the global corporation, related to the managing of workforce diversity, with the focus on human resources.
