“Life Interrupted” is the first installment of a series of collections of poetry entitled, “The Chronicles of the Epic Misadventures of a Grown Up Ghetto Girl…” This is Volume One. An emotional display of poetic justice. The title poem, “Life Interrupted”, was one of my mom’s favorites. She featured it in her book, “I’m Still Walking”, a collection of inspirational poems. I started the series with an emotional collection because I was feeling emotional, though the series will range from the emotional, to the political, to the inspirational, to the sensual and so on. I simply write whatever I am feeling at the time and this is my truth.
