The Simulacrum

In the world of The Simulacrum, nothing is what it seems. Every being, every action, every scene transports us into another plateau of the imagination. From the main characters to supporting ones, from the blood pulsing plot to the intricate themes, we are effortlessly submerged in homage to our imaginations and other great works of art. Aside from the apparent Judeo-Christian themes, we encounter references to Greek Mythology, Freudian theories, Feminist ideals, Futurology, Monotheism, the afterlife ... all while following the adventures of one young man in his quest to discover the truth. Our protagonist, Julian, goes from being a simple man to being the key, the very being needed to save civilization as we know it. Looking for answers to his prophetic dreams, he is propelled into the middle of an ongoing war-a war between religion and science, the eternal battle of good versus evil.
