The manual consists of a set of criteria and measurements used to assess the sustainability performance of sports facilities and documenting the degree to which the requirements of Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) have been met. GSAS Rail: Design Assessment v2.0 provides information for the criteria in the design assessment and outlined based on the following elements: DESCRIPTION that outlines the intent of the criterion. MEASUREMENT PRINCIPLE that summarizes the overall principle of how the criterion will be measured. MEASUREMENT that describes, in detail, the steps and requirements the project must take in order to demonstrate criterion compliance. Additionally, for certain criteria that require complex computation, tools are provided to facilitate calculations. SUBMITTAL that provides information on computation or documentation requirements that the project needs to submit in order to demonstrate compliance. These include plans, drawings, simulations, specifications, reports, or calculations. SCORE that lists the range of possible compliance levels and the score associated with each level. Calculated values are rounded to the nearest number presented within the ranges.
