The Patient Patient

This collection of events follows Christine's journey through her symptoms, diagnosis and diseases that have come to affect her life. It touches upon her healthy life, family and friends and what it is now like to be vulnerable and living as a blind person. The story details her ability to maintain an upbeat attitude and illustrates the strength of human emotion and the true human experience. Christine's story shows the power of a positive attitude in the face of a life changing illness and that patience truly is a virtue. About the Author: Christine was born, raised, and still lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has had many roles in her life...including but not limited to daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and friend. Much to her surprise she has also been a Rotarian, Toastmaster, United Way speaker, patient advocate, accidental activist, designer of clay creations, and to her wonder and delight now an author. She is joined in life by her loving husband, family, and friends.
