Crescent City Magick: Welcome To New Orleans

CRESCENT CITY MAGICK is a fantasy graphic novel, set in modern-day New Orleans. Clayton Woods, newly arrived to the city and on the run from terrifying forces he doesn't understand, is aided by Julia, a young self-proclaimed witch, who is convinced Clayton just might have the makings of a hero. Clayton suspects Julia may be crazy. The story contains touches of horror, humor and heroism... all drawn with care in a detailed, yet elegant, style reminiscent of the Pre-Raphaelites and Art Nouveau. Through art and dialog, the characters come alive on the page. With witches, aliens (maybe...), street musicians, a black cat, zombies (the voodoo folklore kind, not the over-used apocalyptic kind)... what's not to like?
