Hydrogen peroxide or better known as H2O2 is a very common compound that is used to clean and disinfect wounds. It is coupled with betadine solution which cleans wounds and reduces the risk of infection. But what most of us don’t know is that the lowly hydrogen peroxide may also be used in other ways and this is due to the efficient properties of this compound. Hydrogen peroxide appears clear and slightly viscous compared to water in room temperature. This compound is available in opaque plastic bottles and is sold in most drug stores or chemists.
