In this contemporary love story, Tiffany Birdwell, a college student from Kansas travels to Costa Rica to study tropical biology. Caught between her desire to teach and a phobia of public speaking, she struggles to find peace for her dilemma. As Tiffany hikes with a group in the Monteverde rainforest over a series of swinging bridges, she not only falls in love with the tropics, but she is attracted to the naturalist Zachary Caldwell. While Tiffany works to overcome insecurities and self-doubt, Zachary battles ghosts from his well-guarded past. On a solo hike in the rainforest in search of a quetzal, Tiffany has an unpredictable experience that could potentially change her life forever. And later, when a river float trip takes an unexpected turn, Zachary is left searching for answers to love and forgiveness.
