Call of the Spirit: Inspiration for the journey home

Spiritual truth is simple, ineffable, ageless, and profoundly joyous. This collection of poetry does not attempt to reveal that truth, for words are inadequate for that purpose. It aims only to use words in a way that may provide inspiration and encouragement to those who need it for their journey. Reflecting the tradition of eastern mysticism, especially the writings of Meher Baba and Robert Adams, several themes recur throughout the 62 verses: love as the essence of all creation, the fundamental unity of reality, the meaning of love, our purpose here, ecstatic union with God, and the illusory nature of everyday life, to name a few. The poems, written in free verse, can be used as a focus for beneficial meditation, and are accompanied by beautiful photographs also created by the author.
