The reference in those years is like a tribute to Greek tradition, a reminiscence of lifestyle, manners and customs of the past. The narration is going through school years, behaviors, attitudes of teachers, education in general, platonic romances, the economic, political, agricultural life of those days and the Greek way of life in general. Through the pages of this interesting book are emerging memories which have their vivid mark on all of us. At the same time, George Roukas, in his own personal way, is trying to protest on the current affairs that haunt his country.
