Medicine, love and murder. Brent’s life is a tangled web of all three and the only thing that can save him from prison may be a missing piece of paper! ------------------------- Medical student Brent Ellis has a promising career ahead of him as a doctor, but women have a way of keeping his life so complicated that he barely has time for his studies. There’s Jen, his brilliant study partner who campaigns tirelessly for cancer awareness even while she’s dying of the disease herself. There’s Julie, who may turn out to be the perfect woman to stand by Brent’s side when it looks like his future may lie not in medicine but in prison. And most of all there’s Stormy, the hotheaded but goodhearted ex-girlfriend who Brent can’t seem to get out of his mind. Brent suspects that she’s become involved with an abusive boyfriend and when he spies on her to find out if his suspicions are true, he finds himself arrested for stalking her. Worse, when Stormy really does turn up savagely beaten to death, it’s Brent who’s immediately blamed. A letter that Stormy was writing to Brent just before she died could exonerate him and point to the real murderer – but she never mailed it and now it’s lost! Brent’s future, once so bright and promising, now hinges on a fragile piece of paper and the words of a woman who is no longer alive to speak them!
