The Deadly Unicorn: A Weird City Mystery

2039.  A sprawling metropolis affectionately called Weird City.  Old-fashioned private eye, Nate Flynn, is fed up with a society that seems to have lost its mind.  It's all he can do just to make ends meet and maintain his sanity.  It doesn't help matters when he walks into his office to find a beautiful young woman named Cinderella waiting for him.  She seems to think she's a fairytale princess and claims that her family's pet unicorn has been stolen.  It sounds absurd, even for Weird City, but Flynn is just desperate enough to take the case and he's never been one to say no to a pair of big blue eyes.  

What begins as a fairly straight-forward investigation--as straight-forward as you can get when you're looking for a stolen unicorn--turns into something a bit more complicated as Nate gets caught up in the deadly secrets of Cinderella, her two beautiful, troublemaking sisters and their delusional mother.  When he stumbles upon evidence of a grisly murder and cover-up, everyone's a suspect, from the family's robot butler to an incompetent nightclub owner with something to prove to the family itself. In Weird City, even the unicorn isn't above suspicion.
