The Flap of a Butterfly's Wings is the first book of poetry by Jim Dulin. Change is a constant pull on each of us whether we want to admit it or not. I am not the person I was went I started writing poetry and I will keep on changing. I am a collection of my mistakes and my poetry is a collection of my thoughts caught in time. I wanted to gather a series of poems that would speak to these sentiments. The Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings is a book of poetry broken into three parts. Part I: Shifting Heartbeats is a clashing mix of poetry with varied views on love: jaded, naïve, romantic, and vulnerable. Part II: Perspectives focuses on poems about societal changes.
