North Florida Waterways

This collection of essays will offer vignettes of the waterways of North Florida: the rivers, lakes, springs, Atlantic Ocean, and Gulf of Mexico, the latter two as they relate to this part of the state. The chapters will cover many aspects of the waterways in North Florida and should appeal to boaters, fishermen, and bird watchers. The writer is the award-winning author of 56 published books and a retired professor of Linguistics and English at the University of Florida. Two of his recent books are entitled “Antioch on the Orontes: An Illustrated History” (2013) and “Castles of Turkey” (2013).
