Life of Riley

Taking the belt from his father was the easy part. When the red mist descended, Riley set about both his father and his least favourite uncle with the buckle end. Monica, his sister, was on nightshift and in bed when her brother lost the plot, and most likely saved the lives of both men when she managed to intervene; Riley having run out of steam, eventually. At the tender age of ten, Riley becomes the man of the house, his uncle banned completely and his father banished to the couch and having to sleep with one eye open. (There's a pun in there somewhere.) Riley grows up quickly and strives to look after his family, finding a flair for it shortly before his father's murder, an event which elicits little reaction from the young man. Riley then takes a run at life, head on, takes no prisoners as he slowly builds his various business ventures into high earning concerns. With that, he also shrewdly builds on his reputation as a mover and a shaker, the man to know. This is a jaunt through THE LIFE OF RILEY.
