Daisy was a humble farm cat who, with her Tom-boy sister Agnes, travelled on the high seas, had brushes with the law and survived an encounter with a wild beast. Eventually she found peace with the old witch and the grumpy old man who owned the Old Cats' Retirement Home. Curled up under her favourite apple tree, Daisy dreamed of flying through the skies like a bird... Daisy's Story is one of a series of short stories about the residents of the Old Cats' Retirement Home. Each story is based on the true life of a much loved cat.
