Letters of Love

On Valentines Day, I presented my husband with a red leather journal full of blank pages. For the next year I wrote him Letters of Love that were reflective of our 26 years together. Not sappy superficial dedications, but raw honest reflections from crevices deep within me. Sometimes humorous, sometimes tear filled, often random. Memories of long ago and just yesterday. With every page full, on Valentines Day the following year I presented him with the same journal full of all my deepest feelings, dreams, and memories. Love can be complicated and amazing.
